Project description
The Pomeranian Platform of the Academic-Industrial Innovative Cooperation (INNOPOMERANIA) is a development programme for the largest universities in the Tri City. The overall goal of the project is to create a strategy for the support of effective cooperation between science and the industry.
Specific objectives:
- Raising the qualifications of teaching staff and students of the Pomeranian universities, entrepreneurship and innovation management skills,
- Application of tools for enhancing cooperation between industry and science,
- Supporting academic entrepreneurship and the commercialization of new technologies,
INNOPOMERANIA Project is a bridge connecting the field of science and industry through effective support for initiatives for business representatives, students and university staff within innovative projects and promotion of entrepreneurship. The project will improve the qualifications of academic staff and future graduates in science, business, intellectual property management and commercialization of R & D. In addition, the tools and methods to promote scientific and industrial cooperation in the form of Virtual Advisory Centre will be created. Such centre will provide assistance in funds seeking, preparation of joint project proposals, and communication between project partners. Project implementation is based on the cooperation of the three largest universities from the Tri City and the usage of the potential of two local science-technology parks. It is also a perfect supplement to other activities related to strengthening of regional innovation and competitiveness of the economy and makes the Tri City a more attractive place to invest and work.
